Irie Revoltes and concert-add![]() ![]() One of my bass-students played at "Das Fest" which is a really great outdoor and for free festival here in Karlsruhe. About 50.000 people where there on friday and on saturday and sunday about 100.000. My student Conrad played with his band Irie Revoltes on the main stage of the festival which was a quite impressive view from the small hill in front of the stage. All over the festival there were adds for the substage club in Karlsruhe. Also for our concert on the "Wer Wind saet"-Tour in october. See you there! Learning new songs for the tour Maybe you asked yourself how bands like Saltatio Mortis prepair songs for their live-shows.All starts at home (in my case). I set up my floorboard in front of the desktop in my studio. Connect all the stuff with the computer and the soundsystem and when I got my sheets and instrument I can start. First I have to prepair all my parts on the instrument. When do I play and what! After that I play with the song or a playback or only with the metronome (depends on parts). After all that is done I start to program my sound on the floorboard. It is connected to my computer which makes things really easy to tweak all the stuff on screen and just send it to the unit. When the sound is ready I play with the song a couple times and then pack my stuff for rehearsing with the band. Preperation is the key tu success! |
