Beat Samoel 3 times in billiard after breakfast, then went to the couch to re-organise our multi-media stuff on youtube and myspace. started to cut new podcasts which will be released very soon.

Rest of the day was filled with, recording a drum-part, arranging percussion-recordings that were recorded the day before, pre-mixing and after dinner (Lasterbalk made some real good food) we listened to all the songs to check if all is ok.

We released a new podcast-trailer that you can find in my video-section. The trailer shows the studio-footage, "Aus der Asche"-tour-backstage material and some scenes of our songwriting-sessions or the new album "Wer Wind sät" which we record at the moment.

It's day 12 and we finished electric guitars today, which means we did drums, bass & e-guitars for 14 songs in 12 days!!! After lunch we started tracking percussion which means a whole dimension of sounds and rhythms for the songs. As you see we have much fun here.

Some of you may have recognised that we have a lot of apple-computers here in the studio which is now our so called mac-world. This morning more products were delivered (Trosi and Samoel ordered last week) and now we have four iphones here. 

Oh back to our work here - I finished my last tracks (with the chapman stick) today and Samoel did more electric guitars while Lasterbalk wrote more studio-diaries for our website and did office work. Alea, Falk and El Silbador were also here too today to visit, have some talk and practice. In the evening we had also a visit from our friend Kosho (guitar-player of the german band "Die Söhne Mannheims").

Just finished my pizza and we are still in the studio. 

Samoel started guitars after breakfast and Ouzo (our female sound-chief, when we're on tour) visited us. I did one piece with the stick and then I practiced more stick for the rest of the 2 songs I have to record. 

This evening Lasterbalk went out to make party withous us three - we wish him a happy evening (maybe).

We really eat too much here and have too much coffee! Beside all those important issues Lasterbalk finished drum-takes today and I have only two more songs on my to-do-list. His new hobby here is to relax (mostly on the couch) and film people. One of the photos shows Samoel and myself pratice in the relaxing area of our appartement were we also have our small offices (which means apple laptops & instruments). 

While I write those lines Samoel doubles electric guitars in one of our faster songs and then our last goal for today is to get "curry-sausages" for dinner.

It's monday and we aren't alone anymore here in the studio, which means we have breakfast-time around half past 10 a.m. - and yes we eat the whole day (almost). Today Falk visited us in the studio and after one week of studio-work some guys get a bit crazy and some still work.

I did two songs with bass today and then Samoel returned to record guitars to double them with more guitars and to add much more of them.

Cheesecake, billiard, coffee, chinese-food and guitar-only-day! Samoel recorded electric guitars the whole day. In between I fixed some bars in one song. Samoel uses a lot of different amps and guitars combined which leads to a really big sound. As you see he has much fun.

More drums and lot more guitars today ... no, I am not lazy :-)

I will record my lines when Samoel (who will record all the guitar and guitar-like instruments) needs a rest during the upcoming days. Alea came over to visit us over the weekend and hear the first stuff coming together on tape ... ok, harddisk! During pauses I practiced billiard and ate cheesecake - you see we work really hard.
