We really eat too much here and have too much coffee! Beside all those important issues Lasterbalk finished drum-takes today and I have only two more songs on my to-do-list. His new hobby here is to relax (mostly on the couch) and film people. One of the photos shows Samoel and myself pratice in the relaxing area of our appartement were we also have our small offices (which means apple laptops & instruments). 

While I write those lines Samoel doubles electric guitars in one of our faster songs and then our last goal for today is to get "curry-sausages" for dinner.

It's monday and we aren't alone anymore here in the studio, which means we have breakfast-time around half past 10 a.m. - and yes we eat the whole day (almost). Today Falk visited us in the studio and after one week of studio-work some guys get a bit crazy and some still work.

I did two songs with bass today and then Samoel returned to record guitars to double them with more guitars and to add much more of them.

Cheesecake, billiard, coffee, chinese-food and guitar-only-day! Samoel recorded electric guitars the whole day. In between I fixed some bars in one song. Samoel uses a lot of different amps and guitars combined which leads to a really big sound. As you see he has much fun.

More drums and lot more guitars today ... no, I am not lazy :-)

I will record my lines when Samoel (who will record all the guitar and guitar-like instruments) needs a rest during the upcoming days. Alea came over to visit us over the weekend and hear the first stuff coming together on tape ... ok, harddisk! During pauses I practiced billiard and ate cheesecake - you see we work really hard.

Lasterbalk checked out drums for one song and I did bass, fretless and upright on 5 songs the whole day. Watched the final-match of the welsh international Bowls-Tour in the evening after work was done.

More drums were finished in the morning. After that we did guitar-soundcheck and got 2 really nice sounds for rhythm-guitars. Until evening Samoel did rhythm guitars for 1,5 songs (which is a lot of work) and they rocked. This evening had no Bowls on tv.

Last night we watched some sports-tv and were fascinated by this game called "Bowls". 

It's night and we had a very dense day of drums, drums and more drums (between we had lunch of course). Holger, the drummer I work with a lot is also Lasterbalks drum-coach, is here too to assist him with all his work. At the moment we're on song number six (in 24 hours!!!). The plan is to start with bass tomorrow.

We started the day with breakfast and then we did some drum-set up and sounds. Lunch was very good today. Samoel created his guitar-world and Lasterbalk did drum-soundcheck in the evening. I was assisting our producer Trosi with preproduction-mixing for the ProTools-Sessions. 

At the moment we're tracking drums for the first song - sounds very good!

Finally, we're in the studio! Tomorrow we will begin to get drum-sounds and maybe record some drums :-)
